Lebron James Out For The Season

LeBron James Lakers season is over. He’s out for the season with a groin injury. NBA offseason mode activated for Los Angeles.

The LA Lakers announced LeBron James groin injury would keep him out of the remainder of its regular games. This would allow the LeBron James injury to heal, allowing him more time to rest the first significant injury of his NBA career.

In a statement, Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka said that this move was best for both the Lakers and LeBron James career.

”After consulting with our team doctors and medical staff, we have decided to hold LeBron out of games for the remainder of the season,” the team said in a statement attributed to President Magic Johnson and General Manager Rob Pelinka. ”This decision will allow his groin to fully heal, and is best for the future success of both LeBron and the Lakers.”

Here my LeBron James first take. Why Lakers shut down LeBron James for rest of season now all of a sudden? Lebron James out for the season screams the Lakers tanking for Zion. Maybe they will get lucky and be able to pick Zion Williamson in the 2019 NBA draft. The groin injury doesn’t seem to affect Lebron James dunks like the one he bragged about on Instagram vs the Charlotte Hornets. Maybe there will be a little LeBron James motivation for the 2019 – 2020 NBA season?

So what happened to not cheating the NBA game after LeBron James triple double (29 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists) in a win over the Sacramento Kings a few days ago? LeBron James interview explained his approach to playing with little on the line.

“I would never cheat myself,” LeBron James postgame interview said, via ESPN. “I know we’re out the playoff race, but if I’m on the court, I’m going to play how I play, and I play to win. So, I will never cheat the game… There’s such a thing called ‘game gods.’ And they’re watching no matter what you’re doing, and it’s our obligation to go out and be a professional, and that’s what I’m about.”

LeBron James offseason has begun, the earliest it’s started since the 2004-05 NBA season.

LeBron James hurt his groin in a victory over the Golden State Warriors on Christmas and in his 16th season was forced to miss substantial time after being largely healthy since coming into the NBA as the first pick in the 2003 draft. He sat out 17 games before returning on Jan. 31, and the Lakers were unable to recover and make the playoffs.

It’s the first time Lebron not making playoffs since 2005, when he was in his second NBA season with Cleveland. He had appeared in the last eight NBA Finals. James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 55 games.
More LeBron James travels to Hollywood for The Shop, Shut Up & Dribble, Space Jam 2, hang out with rappers such as 2 Chainz, and more TV and movie meetings! Look on the Brightside Lakers nation. With LeBron eliminated, the future Basketball Hall of Famer can no longer blame Lakers teammates for the reason of this season at least.
