Jordan Peele says, “I Don’t See Myself Casting a White Dude” in future movies. Racist comment? A black Youtubers reaction.
Liberal media like The Hollywood Reporter are using clickbait headline titles for a Jordan Peele quote. This is what the Get Out director said.
“I don’t see myself casting a white dude as the lead in my movie. Not that I don’t like white dudes,” he said, nodding over to his moderator pal Roberts. “But I’ve seen that movie.” The line drew loud applause and shouts of agreement. “It really is one of the best, greatest pieces of this story, is feeling like we are in this time — a renaissance has happened and proved the myths about representation in the industry are false.”
So, is Jordan Peele racist for not wanting to cast a white dude as the lead in his movies? I don’t think so. The Academy Award winner just wants the next Jordan Peele movies to represent who he is, which is a black man. Nothing wrong with wanting Black Hollywood to prosper. There are way more white actors in Hollywood than there are African American’s. This is all explained in the Jordan Peel white dudes video. The Key & Peele creator is making black diversity in Hollywood happen and this isn’t a controversy to be worried about.
This is not the same as the Brie Larson white men comments.
