DeSean Jackson traded to Philadelphia Eagles reaction. Kwon Alexander leaves Tampa Bay Buccaneers to sign with SF 49ers.
A big NFL trade! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trade Desean Jackson and a 2020 seventh-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 2019 sixth-round pick. The Desean Jackson return should help the Eagles offense a lot as long as he’s happy. Desean Jackson back to Eagles seems to have Philly fans happy. Good Bucs news if you ask me!
NFL free agency 2019 kicked off with NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the San Francisco 49ers are expected to sign inside linebacker Kwon Alexander to a four-year, $54 million contract, with $27 million in guarantees.
The big NFL free agency contract comes after Alexander’s 2018 campaign ended after just six games following a torn ACL. The former fourth-round pick compiled 380 total tackles and seven sacks over four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making 46 starts.
In more Bucs free agency news, the Tennessee Titans are expected to sign Wide Receiver Adam Humphries to a four-year deal worth $36 million, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported. Adam Humphries was one of the big NFL free agents 2019 had to offer from the slot wide receiver position.
He joined the Buccaneers in 2015 as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson and appeared in 60 games with 17 starts over the past four years, totaling 219 catches for 2,329 yards and nine touchdowns in that span.
With the Titans, the 5-foot-11, 195-pound Humphries provides a much-needed weapon in the short-to-intermediary passing game for quarterback Marcus Mariota.
Desean Jackson to eagles and Adam Humphries to the Titants leaves the Tampa Bay Bucs thin at Wide Receiver for QB Jameis Winston.
