Captain Marvel Movie Box Office Flop? Avengers Endgame Fault

Captain Marvel will flop due to Avengers Endgame film? Screen Rant has a theory about the MCU movie box office predictions.

The Captain Marvel release date is too close to the next Avengers film writes movie news website Screen Rant. The Captain Marvel movie will be released just 7 weeks before the follow up to Infinity War, Avengers Endgame. Long range box office predictions have been anywhere from $140 Million to $170 Million record breaking box office opening weekend. IGN predicts the film with $148.9 million debut, $627.5 million domestic box office results. Some are even comparing the Captain Marvel box office numbers to the Black Panther movie box office results.

So why is Screen Rant writing that the upcoming Marvel movie is being released too close to the next Avengers movie? Is the Disney media lowering their box office predictions? Are they seeing an update on box office tracking info for the film that has taken a bit of a dive? Or is Screen Rant just releasing more news articles that are click bait? All I know is MCU news articles are why the Captain Marvel box office report about movie ticket presales mean practically nothing!

When is Captain Marvel coming out? The Captain Marvel release date is March 8, 2019. Don’t forget there’s other new movies are coming out around the same time in theaters. Like the upcoming Shazam DC movie. The DC Comics film Shazam release date is April 5, 2019. What if word of mouth marketing is positive like the Shazam trailer reaction and becomes a popular movie and box office hit? Shazam could cut into the Captain Marvel box office numbers. There could be a Shazam vs Captain Marvel battle going on in theaters. Could Captain Marvel flop? Yes! Do I think it will flop? No! But is it going to be doing the DC films Wonder Woman or Aquaman box office numbers? No way!

The upcoming female superhero film does not need to do Avengers box office numbers to be a movie success. If it does Ant-Man and the Wasp box office results that is ok. There’s nothing wrong with being in the same company as Scott Lang & Hope Pym. The sjw media needs to stop acting like the next MCU film l is crucial to the future of the Disney Marvel movie lineup. Kevin Feige knows what he is doing with his Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. The Disney media shills really need to stop comparing the Brie Larson Captain Marvel movie to the Black Panther film as well. Just because The Captain Marvel plot could have something to do with the next Avengers film, Endgame, but it does not mean it’s automatically going to be a cultural phenomenon like Marvel Black Panther. There was a huge Marvel Black Panther movement last year when the movie came out. Don’t forget that! Wakanda Forever!

Captain Marvel directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are directing from a script written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Nicole Perlman, and Meg LeFauve.
