Aladdin trailer reaction. Will Smith Genie raps Friend Like Me in new 2019 Disney movie. It’s official. Its a whole new world.
ALADDIN MOVIE NEWS
Guy Ritchie will direct the new live-action adaptation of Disney Aladdin 2019 while the original composer of Aladdin, Alan Menken, will return for the score with new recordings of original songs A Whole New World and Friend Like Me along with two new ones. The new Aladdin movie trailer features stars Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Will Smith as Genie, and Mena Massoud as the new Aladdin.
I have a few questions about the new Aladdin trailer!
– What was your Aladdin trailer reaction?
– What do you think of the way Aladdin meets genie?
– What did you think of Aladdin a whole new world in the new 2019 official trailer?
– Should they fix the Jafar voice?
The release date for Disney Aladdin is May 24, 2019.
Mena Massoud lands the part of the street rat in the new Aladdin in what will be his first major film role for the newcomer.
Naomi Scott, a 24-year-old London-born actress, will play Princess Jasmine.
Will Smith will play the Genie, who was voiced by Robin Williams in the animated original 1992 Aladdin.
Marwan Kenzari has been cast as the villainous Jafar. In the original animated hit, Jafar was rarely without his equally scheming pet parrot who, apropos to Jafar’s character, carries the Othello Shakespearean whispering schemer name, Iago, voiced by Gilbert Gottfried (who, by all rights, should reprise the role).
Numan Acar will play Hakim, the right-hand man of the sinister Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) and leader of his guards. While Hakim was a minor character in the 1992 animated feature, its straight-to-video follow-ups and TV series, expect Acar’s live-action iteration to have a greater impact.
Nasim Pedrad will play Mara, the loyal handmaiden and friend of Naomi Scott’s Princess Jasmine. The character is a completely original addition, created specifically for the movie.
Billy Magnussen will play one of the suitors of Princess Jasmine.
